Hasting Country Park

I visited the country park yesterday, the first time for a while, and was impressed by the new signage. Then I became aware of a no entry sign on the map at Fairlight Place Farm.

When I last visited the park I used to go down that path to the Wishing Well. Why am I no longer allowed to use this route?

Although this is not a Freedom of Information request for recorded information, we can advise as follows:

There is no recognised entrance to Fairlight Glen from Fairlight Place Farm. Fairlight Place Farm area consists of a farm yard and residential properties.

There is residential and farm traffic with heavy vehicles in daily use in this area which make it unsuitable for members of the public.

Access to Fairlight Glen can be gained from many other entrance points where the dripping well and the wonders of the ancient gill woodland can be enjoyed safely.
