1. How many missed bin collections does the council have to deal with annually?

Response

1. This differs from year to year and is influenced by any number of variables. However, to give some idea, during 2020 Hastings Borough Council received 5,253 missed collection requests. To put that into context, for the same time period our contractor carried out over 3.1m collections.

2. Missed collections are included within the core price of the contract and therefore not an additional annual cost.
