Land charges

Responded Fri 13 March 2020I am trying to pull together some benchmarking data for land charges, but couldn't find some of the information on your website, hence I thought that I would drop you an email instead. I would be most grateful if you could provide the following information:
1)Please can you confirm the number of staff along with their FTE that you had/have in your Land Charges Team for the 2016, 2017, 2018 and current financial years.
2)Please can you provide the total cost of providing your service (for the avoidance of doubt this should be the figure that you publish in order to comply with paragraphs 8 and 9 of The Local Authorities (England) (Charges for Property Searches) Regulations 2008) for the 2016, 2017 and 2018 financial years. In addition please can you provide your estimate of costs for the 2019 financial year.
3)Please can you provide the total number of searches that you carried out as a land charges service (for the avoidance of doubt this should be the figure that you publish in order to comply with paragraphs 8 and 9 of The Local Authorities (England) (Charges for Property Searches) Regulations 2008) for the 2016, 2017 and 2018 financial years. In addition please can you provide your estimate of the number of searches to be carried out for the 2019 financial year.
4)Please can you also provide a breakdown of the searches referred to in question 3 under the following categories - Personal, LLC1, CON29 and Full Standard Searches.
5)Please provide any performance data relating to the time taken to process search requests for the 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 financial years.
6)Please can you also confirm whether you are introducing a separate fee for searches regarding commercial properties.
7)If any of the data listed above is available on your Council website, please can you provide a direct link to the specific page in which that data sits.
