Please can I make a Freedom Of Information request for the number of liability orders issued for council tax this year to date.

 

Can I also have the numbers split by gender.

Response

The total number of Liability Orders issued 2016/17 is 1632. The total number of Liable persons is more due to more than 1 taxpayer being liable for a single property.

The split is shown below:

Females - 967
Males - 1057
Companies - 66
