Disabled Housing

Responded Fri 07 September 2018Could you please provide me with:
1) The number of physically and mentally disabled people housed in supported living,
2) The number registered as waiting for housing in supported living,
3) The expectation of demand for housing in supported living (e.g. juveniles turning 18 over the next 2 years)
3) The trend in the first two from 2015 – current.
I would define supported living as housing with supported living services specifically for those with learning difficulties, mentally or physically disabled occupants. A carer may live on site but this is not a necessity.
As a suggestion, please provide the information in the form:

Response
This area is dealt with by East Sussex County Council (ESCC).
ESCC commission and fund all of the supported living services, Hastings Borough Council (HBC) only refer into the schemes.
HBC has no housing stock and does not own or commission any services that match the description above.
