      I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

      I would be interested in any information held by your organisation regarding my request. I understand that I do not have to specify particular files or documents and it is the department’s responsibility to provide the information I require. If you need further clarification please contact me by email.

      I would like the following information:

      For the most recent 12 month period (please indicated dates) company names and where possible levels of monies spent (on each supplier) for the provision of logistics/transport/fleet services rendered to the council.  Where there may be a large amount of suppliers I request that just the top 30 categorised by spend (high to low) be provided.

      To aid your search this may include for example (but not limited to):

      • Vehicles supply (e.g. manufacturer)
      • Fuel supply, including LPG, Bio Diesel, AdBlue etc. 
      • Vehicle livery
      • Insurance
      • Tyre supply 
      • Vehicle tracking
      • Vehicle technology
      • Repairs and body shops 
      • Vehicle recovery, breakdown service 
      • Heavy and light plant maintenance 
      • Servicing 
      • Tail lift repairs and maintenance
      • Inspections
      • Contracted transport services (excluding taxi services)
      • Tachograph
      • Oils and lubricants
      • Safety training
      • Software providers

      I would like the information to be emailed to me in electronic form.

      If my request is denied in whole or in part I ask that you justify all deletions by reference to specific exemptions of the act.  I will also expect you to release all non-exempt material. I reserve the right to appeal your decision to withhold any information or to charge excessive fees.

      Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding, we have installed a new Freedom of Information system and have experienced a few problems.

      Please see below costs associated with vehicles for 3 departments within the council.

      PARKS

      Fuel Supply - OnRoute fuel card - £2178.71

      Repairs and Body shops - Terrain Vehicles £184.00 (January 2018)
      Vehicle Recovery - Elva Recovery - November 2017. Cost £55.00
      Servicing - Service on Land Rover with Terrain in October 2017 at a cost of £290.00

      LEISURE

      Fuel supply, including LPG, Bio Diesel, AdBlue etc. £2933 (includes individual travel allowances)

      Servicing £129

      WARDENS

      Fleet Hire cost - £11,971

      Fuel supply, including LPG, Bio Diesel, AdBlue etc. - £5102.55

      Vehicle recovery, breakdown service - £2,631

      Servicing - £295

      Safety training - £120
