Correspondence between HBC & Hastings Unites Sports and Social Club

Responded Thu 25 June 2026I would like copies of all correspondence, for the past 5 years, between HBC, Planning Department and Environmental Health Departments to the Hastings United Sports and Social Club regarding noise complaints for the Club and any correspondence regarding any breaches of either Planning Conditions or breaches of Licencing conditions.

Period: 2021 - 2026
Environmental Health sent two letters (Template copy attached) to the Designated Premises Supervisor for the club in 2022. One on 21st June and a further letter on 28th July. Both were standard letters sent to the premises following complaints of loud music and a diary produced by the ******
In addition to the letters and following further complaints the case was added on 11th August 2022 to the Councils out of hours referral list for officers to visit and witness any noise nuisance, once a ****** has called and confirmed that noise was ongoing. No calls were received for a two month period and the case was removed from the list on 19th October 2022.
Further complaints were received over this period but either no diary was received, or entries were insufficient, so no further letters could be sent to the premises.
