Given the financial surplus transferred to general fund/reserve from the allotment account (cost centre 20307) for the years 2020 to 2024/25 (as shown in response FOI 721772239), please provide a corresponding account for the general fund/reserve for the same periods showing how these surpluses were subsequently spent.

Response

The allotments budgets are just a very small part of the surplus (in this case) or deficit that is transferred in the year end into the General Reserves. In the year end, whatever is the net figure surplus or deficits from different areas will go there.

It is impossible tracing back how this surplus of the allotments budget was spent because in the year end every surplus/deficit will contribute in the net figure that will be transferred there.
