Southern DaySave train ticket sales.

I specifically would like to request information regarding Southern DaySave tickets (also known as South Central DaySave and Connex South Central DaySave tickets in earlier years) which were previously sold at the Hastings Visitor Information Centre, which I believe you operated.

I would like to know the following:

1. When did you start selling these tickets?

2. When did you stop selling these tickets?

3. What was the reason for stopping the sale of these tickets?

4. Did you receive a commission for selling these tickets? If so was it a set amount per ticket or a percentage of the ticket cost? Please advise either the set amount per ticket or the percentage of the ticket cost that you received?

5. What ticket issuing equipment did you have? Was it standard Newbury ticket printers printing RSP9599 stock like the railway station ticket offices have? Or did you use pre printed ticket stock or something else?

6. Lastly, I would like to request sales statistics of these tickets for every year from when you first started selling them until when you stopped selling them. Either the calendar years or the financial years is fine. Can you please provide separate statistics for each year and provide separate statistics for each version (for example, adult ticket, child ticket, group ticket, and so on) too? So I need to see how many of each type was sold at your tourist information centre in each year. If you do not hold statistics going back that far (to when you started selling them) then please just provide it as far back as you are able to.

3. Due to the closure of the Tourist Information Centre during COVID-19, a drop in sales and cheaper tickets could be bought online. These DaySave tickets were not selling, so we removed them from sale.
