Number of squatter evictions

I would like to request information regarding squatter evictions conducted by your council.

Specifically, I am requesting the following information:

1. The total number of squatters evicted within the council's jurisdiction from 1st January 2024 to the present date.

2. If possible, a breakdown of these evictions by month and by the type of property (for example, residential, commercial, or public).

3. Any available data on the average time taken to resolve each squatting incident (from the report of squatting to the eviction).

Response

Hastings Borough Council has had no squatters evicted from residential properties.
