I am writing to you to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

1. Do you operate a Selective licensing Schemes for landlords?

If yes, can you please answer the following, giving information for each of the 2022/23, 2023/24, and 2024/25 financial years:

2. The cost of a Selective Licence.

3. The cost of any additional Selective Licence.

4. How long is the Selective Licence valid for?

5. Are discounts available, such as the landlord is a member of the NLA, RLA, or LLAS?

6. How many Selective Licensing areas are in operation?

7. The number of Selective Licences issued.

8. Please state how much revenue the council has generated from the Selective licensing Schemes.

9. The number of fines issued for licensing offences.

10. Total value of fines issued for licensing offences.

Response

Hastings Borough Council does not operate a Selective Licensing Scheme.
