Complaints about mould

Responded Mon 12 February 2024I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act to request the following information:
1. How many complaints about mould did your local authority receive in each year of 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023?
2. What was the average time taken (in weeks) for the local authority to resolve the complaint in each year of 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023?
3. What was the longest time taken (in weeks) for the local authority to resolve the complaint in each year of 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023?
4. What percentage of these complaints (if any) remain outstanding?
If possible, would you be able to present this information in an Excel/Google Sheet document with a breakdown of the statistics by calendar year?
Response
The Council did a Large Scale Voluntary Transfer of its housing stock in 1996 and currently only manages approximately 50 Council owned housing units.
We have received no formal complaints of mould in Council owned properties.
Officers are aware of carrying out works to rectify mould issues but we do not keep records which can be searched based on the types of works carried.
