In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to request the following information:

1. How much has the council spent on developing a net zero strategy?

2. What steps is the council taking to reduce carbon emissions to reach net zero?

Response

The Council's Climate Change Strategy and Action Plan first started in 2020 and was refreshed in 2022. Therefore no capital expenditure was made in the last financial year to develop this strategy.
