I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act, and would like to request the following information from your local authority: Between the dates 14/10/2022 to 13/10/2023:

1) How many parking tickets / penalty charge notices (PCNs) were issued by the council?

2) How much revenue was accumulated from parking tickets / PCNs during this time period?

3) Which street was responsible for the greatest number of parking tickets / PCNs in this time period?

Please note: Hastings Borough Council are responsible for off-street parking (car parks).  On-street parking is dealt with by East Sussex County Council (ESCC) please visit their website for further information: www.eastsussex.gov.uk

1. 4659 Penalty Charge Notices (PCN)s issued between 14/10/22 and 13/10/23. This figure is minus spoils, voids, test tickets and warning notices.

2.  £116,475

3. N/A as ESCC enforce on-street parking.
