Homelessness staff on-site
Requested Tue 10 October 2023
Responded Wed 11 October 2023Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I respectfully request the following information:
1. Does your council have homelessness staff on-site at a council building to assess people approaching as homeless? That is, can people who are homeless go to council offices in person and be assessed by a person face-to-face?
2. If so, are the staff full time or part time? How many full time staff are there?
3. If full time, what happens at the weekend?
4. If part time, how many are there and how many days a week are people working in person?
5. If the council has no staff available for in person approaches, how do people approach the council?
Response
The Freedom of Information Act is based on recorded information held by a local authority, it is not a tool to ask questions.
You are not requesting recorded information but asking questions which falls outside the remit of the Act.
