Please could I request, under the Freedom of Information Act, the following information.

1. How many multi-use games areas (MUGAs) available for public use were there in your local authority area during the financial year:

a. 2019/20?

b. 2022/23?

2. How many netball courts available for public use were there in your local authority area during the financial year:

a. 2019/20?

b. 2022/23?

3. How much financial support (grants/funding) was given to netball clubs during the financial year 2022/23?

Response

We can only confirm the number of facilities managed by the Hastings Borough Council (HBC), not the full number within the borough.

1a. 5x MUGAs (4x HBC, 1x Foreshore Trust).

1b. 5x MUGAs (3x HBC, 1x Foreshore Trust, 1x formerly HBC now Education Futures Trust).

3. No grant funding from the UKSPF or LUPF has been given to netball courts.
