FOI request (FOIR-540160184)
Dog Wardens
Requested Thu 17 August 2023
Responded Thu 24 August 2023We are looking for some contact information about your local dog wardens and rescue centres so we have an accurate point of contact for stray needs and also to provide them with a welfare account with us.
Ideally we are wanting a list of all the dog wardens that operate under the Council and their contact details such as name, email address, contact number and address if applicable.
It would also be greatly appreciated if you could provide us with a list of postcodes or towns that fall under your Authority so we can better direct customers to the correct warden/approved persons.
Response
Hastings Borough Council do not have any Dog Wardens directly or Rescue Centres.
The Council's only statutory responsibility for dealing with stray dogs is to provide stray dog control services and has appointed Animal Wardens Ltd. to fulfil this function. Animal Wardens Ltd can be called directly on 01424 490034 as per our website:https://www.hastings.gov.uk/environmentalhealth/dogs/foundstray/
Information relating to postcodes is publicly available at:
