Council owned car parks

Responded Thu 21 September 2023Under the Freedom of Information Act, could you please supply me with the following information.
1) For each year since 2018, how many council-owned car parks you had as of the 1st of January? For each year (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023) could this be broken down into the following details:
- Name of the car park
- Location of the car park, including the postcode
- Cost of parking - this should be for 3 hours where possible. For short stay car parks please include the cost for the maximum length of stay e.g 1 hour
- How many spaces there are in the car park
2) Secondly, since January 1st 2018, how many council-owned car parks have closed? For each car park please could you provide the following details:
- Name of the car park
- Location of the car park, including the postcode
- Date the car park closed
- How many spaces there were in the car park
- Reason for closure
- What the new purpose of the land is if it has one e.g housing

Council owned and managed car parks in Hastings, please see attached an information sheet on the fees and charges per car park from 2018 to 2023.
Cornwall Street Car Park permanently closed in 2022. It had 71 spaces. It is closed for works for a new hotel being built on site.
