Under the Freedom of Information Act of 2000, could you please provide me with the most up-to-date list of all business (non-residential) property rates data for your local authority that currently hold a credit on their account, including the following fields:

a. Addresses of all commercial properties.

b. The names and addresses of the ratepayer of the property referred to in (a) if they are not a sole trader or individual.

c. The amount by which the account is in credit.

d. The rating year the credit relates to.

e. The reason for the credit occurring.

Could you also please confirm the date that the data was generated from your system?

The response to (e) would be as a result of the following: overpayment, closed account, relief granted, exemption granted, or reduced Rateable Value.

This data was generated on 4th July 2023.

Please note that the Property Reference Number relates to the property, not the account number for the customer. This reference is available on the internet, for example the gov.uk website regarding a property's rateable value.

The figure in the 'outstanding debt' column is the credit amount.

We do not have a report with an option to pick up credits, so we have to select those with a debt less than zero to pick up all accounts in credit.
