Vehicle Telematics Information

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, please may I request the following information in a excel spreadsheet format if possible:

1. Total number of vehicles within the council fleet, split into category and department (that is, refuse vehicles, community buses, and so on).

2. Total number of vehicles with CCTV camera systems installed.

3. Current supplier of CCTV camera system.

4. Total number of vehicles with vehicle tracking/telematics installed.

5. Name of current tracking/telematics provider (if any).

6. Telematics contract end date (if any).

7. Contract budgets.

8. Name of Fleet Manager, or person responsible for managing the fleet.

Movolytics trackers are hard wired into the trucks and the data is paid for on a monthly basis using a purchase order (approximately £10 + VAT per vehicle).

Logistics UK does our digital card analysis, and is paid annually.

Our CCTV camera systems are not on a contract as they record to a HDD.

Our Fleet Manager is Cameron Morley (Head of Environment and Operations).
