With regards to your work around biodiversity net gain, please can you tell me:

1. How much you are currently charging, or plan to charge, developers for offsite biodiversity units so that they can meet their biodiversity net gain requirements?

2. What percentage of biodiversity net gain you are requiring, or expect to require, from developers?

Response

1. The Council is currently exploring this issue and until the work is complete, the Council has no information which is currently available.

2. The Council is developing a new Local Plan and will use the plan making process to explore the potential to exceed the Environment Act's mandatory requirement for 10% biodiversity net gain. No information is currently available.
