1. Please confirm if Hastings Council holds a D-U-N-S number as issued by Dun & Bradstreet?

2. Provide me with the reference to the exact section of the Local Government Finance Act 1992, which compels anyone to pay council tax.

3. Provide me with all the receipts for the expenditure of Hastings Council for the past 3 years. And please understand that this request is for receipts, not accounts.

4. Confirm which officer of the council is the ultimate responsible person within Hastings Council?

5. Do you share my data with any third party?

The Freedom of Information Act is based on recorded information held by a local authority, is not a tool to ask questions.

3. NOTICE OF REFUSAL

You have requested requested in respect of receipts for the expenditure of Hastings Council for the past 3 years. Hastings Borough Council receives approximately 1000 invoices per month, therefore 36,000 over 3 years. To obtain this information would far exceed the time limit set out by the Information Commissioner therefore under S12 of the Freedom of information Act 2000 provides an exemption from the obligation to comply with a request for information if the estimated costs of complying with that request would exceed the prescribed appropriate limit.

We estimate that the costs of complying with your request would exceed the appropriate limit by a significant amount.

For this reason we feel unable to comply with this request.
