Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 please can you supply me with the following information:

The number of dogs seized and placed by your dog pound for the last 5 years. Additionally please include where animals have been returned, re-homed or put down.

Please can you break this information down into figures by month and year.

If possible, I would prefer to receive this information electronically.

If the decision is made to withhold some of this data using exemptions in the Data Protection Act, please inform me of that fact and cite the exemptions used.

Answer: We do not hold this information monthly - only yearly as follows:

2021/2022 - 94 Dogs found, 84 returned, 10 rehomed, Nil put down

2020/2021 - 141 dogs found, 139 dogs returned, 2 rehomed, Nil put down

2019/2020 - 116 dogs found, 98 returned, 18 rehomed, Nil put down

2018/2019 - 158 dogs found, 146 returned, 12 rehomed, Nil put down

2017/2018 - 260 dogs found, 230 returned, 30 rehomed, Nil put down
