Disabled Bay Parking Fines

Responded Wed 05 April 2023I would like to know how many parking fines have been issued to drivers who have illegally parked in a disabled bay over the past five years (between December 2017 and December 2022).
If possible, I would also like to find out how many of the parking fines issued have been paid and how many have been appealed.

The system archives closed cases older than three years.
The information provided is for Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) issued for off street car parks only.
On street parking is dealt with by East Sussex County Council (https://www.eastsussex.gov.uk).
The following are minus spoils, voids, test tickets and warning notices.
01/04/20 to 31/03/21 = 2,915 of which 56 were issued for contravention 87 - 'Parking in a disabled bay'. Of these, 31 were paid, and 18 were cancelled following challenge/appeal.
01/04/21 to 31/03/22 = 3,875 of which 79 were issued for contravention 87 - 'Parking in a disabled bay'. Of these, 46 were paid, and 19 were cancelled following challenge/appeal.
01/04/22 to 28/02/23 = 4,123 of which 90 were issued for contravention 87 - 'Parking in a disabled bay'. Of these, 45 were paid, and 21 were cancelled following challenge/appeal.
