I write with regard to an information request, the use of RIPA-based covert surveillance operations on the public in certain cases. Could you please inform me how many times this RIPA-based covert surveillance operations on the public in certain cases have been used in Hastings, East Sussex, by the Local Authority since 2008. Additionally, please inform me what sort of cases (including petty offenses) it has been used in where you can attribute a matter that does not reveal personal information.
