Responded Fri 09 December 2022I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Please could you provide the following information in an Excel spreadsheet:• The total number of Parking Charge Notices (PCNs) issued by your Local Authority in 2020, 2021, and January to June 2022• The total revenue raised by your Local Authority from PCNs in 2020, 2021, and January to June 2022• The proportion of PCNs paid within 14 days to receive a reduced fine in 2020, 2021, and January to June 2022

The information provided below is for Penalty Charge Notices (PCN)s issued for off street (car parks) only. Hastings Borough Council do not enforce on street parking, this is dealt with by East Sussex County Council, please visit their website for further information: www.eastsussex.gov.uk
The following are minus spoils, voids, test tickets and warning notices.
01.04.20 to 31.03.21 = 2915 of which 1575 paid with discount
01.04.21 to 31.03.22 = 3875 of which 2173 paid with discount
01.01.22 to 30.06.22 = 2061 of which 1268 paid with discount
PCN income:
01.04.20 to 31.03.21 = £66,468
01.04.21 to 31.03.22 = £83,565
01.01.22 to 30.06.22 = £27,289
