Responded Fri 29 July 20221. How many vehicles collided with property owned by your local authority, such as buildings, railings, lampposts, street furniture and so on, in each of the calendar years 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018 and 2017? Please provide the data broken down by year.
2. How much money did your local authority spend in each of the calendar years 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018 and 2017 repairing council-owned property that was damaged by vehicles? Please also state how much, if any, of each annual amount, in £s, was recovered through insurance policies. Please also state how much, if any, of each annual amount, in £s, was recovered through uninsured loss recovery (ULR) programmes. Please provide the data broken down by year.

2. Hastings Borough Council does not own any housing stock. Our housing stock was transferred to 1066 Housing Association (now Optivo) in 1996 as part of a Large Scale Voluntary Transfer (LSVT).
