Please could I receive:

1. A breakdown of how much funding (per year) your business improvement district received between 2018 to 2022.

2. A breakdown of what the funding (per year) was spent on within the local area between 2018 to 2022.

3. A breakdown of how much was spent (per year) on each individual expense between 2018 to 2022.

4. A breakdown of how much of the funding (per year) was spent between 2018 to 2022.

Response

1. Hastings Borough Council has taken this question to mean how much we collected on behalf of the BID for each of the relevant years. The collection figures are as at 15 July 2022 and not in-year collection figures. We are unable to provide figures for 2022 since we only did annual billing in June 2022.

a. 2018 - £198,232.14

b. 2019 - £194,144.39

c. 2020 - £162,703.46

d. 2021 - £155,331.64
