Please may you provide me with the number of complaints made to your council regarding the following matters:

1. An untidy garden/yard

2. An overgrown garden/yard

3. Accumulation of refuse outside garden/yard

4. Bins left out

Can I please have the above data for the period 1st January to present?

Response

1. Hastings Borough Council does not have a reporting tool to record untidy gardens. In most instances they do not constitute a public health hazard or environmental health issue.

We have had 4 complaints regarding Japanese Knotweed.
