Fires and nuisance smoke reports

Please provide:

1. Nuisance smoke or fire reports in the local area in the past 5 years.

2. Any data on fines for fires in the past five years.

Response

1. For the period 01/01/2017 to 31/12/2021 we recorded 677 reports of smoke from Commercial or Domestic premises. This includes smoke from bonfires, which are not logged separately.

2. No fines for bonfires have been issued in the last 5 years.
