We are writing to you to request the following information on NNDR Accounts:

1. A list of credit balances for both current and closed accounts

2. A list of credit balances which have not been brought forward from previous years

3. A list of credit balances which have been written on instead of refunded

Could you please include the following information for both credit balances and write ons?

a. The full address of the hereditament

b. The name of the account holder

c. The value of the credit/overpayment

d. The year of which the credit balance refers to

It would be appreciated if this information could be provided in an excel format.

Where possible, we would like this information to date back as far as your records allow.

Response

Please see attached our response to your Freedom of Information request. This is on two spreadsheets, one for credits, and one for write ons.

The figure in the column that says 'outstanding debt' is the credit amount. We do not have a report with an option to pick up credits, so we have to put in debt with less than 0 to pick up all accounts in credit.
