Q5. & Q6. Due to staff sickness, we currently don't have the resources to manually update our payment records, in order to identify which households are in arrears. However, I can confirm that when households are placed in temporary accommodation, Housing Benefit forms are completed. If customer is entitled to any Housing Benefit, its paid directly to us, but will be paid 4 weeks in arrears. Most households placed in temporary accommodation will be entitled to Housing Benefit. For those customers who aren't entitled to Housing Benefit (approx 30 households), they must pay for the cost of temporary accommodation themselves. As mentioned above, our payment records aren't up to date so therefore unable to state how many households are in arrears. Most of our temporary accommodation is owned and managed by private companies who invoice us on a regular basis. We pay them on receipt of that invoice.
Q7. NRPF = 7
Q8. 2 people with NRPF accommodated at / since 01/04/2021 under Everyone In / Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP).
