1. Will this council be participating in the Afghanistan Resettlement programmes ARAP + ACRS and if so, how many individuals/families will you be taking on?

2. If you are not participating in the Afghanistan Resettlement programmes ARAP + ACRS, can you explain why?

3. What was this council's response to the Syrian Resettlement programme (VPRS)?

Response

Q1. Hastings will be participating in both ARAP and ACRS schemes. Hastings has sent an indicative target to resettle 40 individuals through ACRS programme and a further 2 households through the ARAP programme. Both targets are subject to approval by Cabinet.

Q3. Hastings' response to the Syrian Resettlement Programme was to settle 100 individuals, which has been achieved.
