Personal Evacuation Plans

1. How many Disabled people do you have living in your accommodation in properties that are on the first floor or above (ie non-ground floor properties), across your council area?

2. How many residents do you have with personal emergency evacuation plans in council accommodation?

Response

1. Hastings Borough Council does not have any social housing (council housing). We have a Social Lettings Agency and some Temporary Accommodation properties. There are no registered disabled persons living in our accommodation. We only place people that are able to manage stairs on first floor and above.

2. Housing Health and Safety Rating System inspections are carried out on all properties to ensure that there is an emergency exit in place in case of fire.
