Shrub removal at the former bathing pool site

I am advised that workmen have recently removed various shrubs which were donated and planted by local residents at the former bathing pool site. I attach photo.

I should be grateful to be advised under the Freedom of Information Act how much this apparently pointless and certainly petty action cost in terms of the workmen's time and the Council's money.
