1. The number of households who received refuse waste collections in 2018, 2019 and 2020

2. The cost of refuse collection operations for 2018, 2019 and 2020

3. The percentage of bins missed during refuse collection rounds in 2018, 2019 and 2020

2020 - approximately 43,780

2019 - approximately 43,700

>2. Refuse collections are included within the core price of the contract. The contract is approximately £2 million.

<3. This differs from year to year and is influenced by any number of variables. However, to give some idea, during 2020 Hastings Borough Council received 5,253 missed collection requests. To put that into context, for the same time period our contractor carried out over 3.2m collections. 4555 in 2019 and 3347 in 2018.
