FOI request (FOIR-308806468)
Fly-tipping and anti-social behaviour - HS/FA/20/00715 and HS/FA/20/00959 - 'the land South West of Newts Way'.
Requested Thu 18 February 2021
Responded Wed 17 March 2021Is there somewhere where I can see specific information about whether an undeveloped piece of land has had any reported incidences of anti social behaviour or flytipping? I've done a search online, but the searches are not specific enough. This relates to an allegation in a planning application, that an area should be developed because of 'reported' incidences of this nature, but I don't believe this to be true. Any information you could give would be appreciated.
The planning application numbers are: HS/FA/20/00715 and HS/FA/20/00959 and refer to the same piece of land. The address is TN38 9TH and it is described as 'the land South West of Newts Way'.
Response
Hastings Borough Council's waste team has only had one reported incident of fly-tipping in the past 18 months, this was in April 2020.
Issues in respect of Anti Social Behaviour are a matter for the Sussex Police, please visit their website for further information:

In terms of how the planning application was assessed and what factors led to the decision that was made, these can be read in the planning officer report which can be viewed online using the public access tool:
