Empty council-owned properties

Responded Fri 18 December 2020The total amount of empty council-owned properties during the year 2020 to date, 2019 and as many years for which records are available.
I would like the information in whatever format it exists e.g. monthly totals per year, number of days empty per year etc
Response
Hastings Borough Council does not own any housing stock, this was transferred to 1066 Housing Association in 1996 as part of a large scale voluntary transfer (LSVT)
The following properties were purchased by the Council are used for Temporary Accommodation only.
5 properties purchased in 2018, total of number of days empty = 0.
12 properties purchased in 2019, total number of days empty for all 17 properties in 2019 is 1099 to carry out works, repairs and cleaning.
8 properties purchased in 2020 bringing the total number of Hastings Borough Council owned properties to 25.
The total number of days empty for all 25 properties in 2020 is 1341 days to carry out works, repairs and cleaning.
