Funding for Services to Young People

Responded Mon 22 February 2021I would be grateful if you could outline how much your local authority plans to spend, or has budgeted to spend, on services to young people in the financial years 2019/20 and 2020/21 under Section 251 the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009. The data should be the Total Services for young people, including Universal services for young people & Targeted services for young people.

Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding.
The spend for services to young people mainly encompasses our support for the work of Hastings Youth Council.
During 2019/20 - actual spend on this activity totalled £3444.68 (for activities)
For 2020/21 - the budget for this activity is £5000 (for activities) and £13,000 (for commissioned support for the Youth Council provide by an external organisation)
