Zoo inspection reports

Responded Mon 12 October 2020I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request information relating to zoos within your local authority area.Zoos are defined by the Zoo Licensing Act 1981 as “an establishment where wild animals are kept for exhibition to the public otherwise than for the purposes of a circus and otherwise than in a pet shop”.Please could you provide the following documents in relation to all zoos within your jurisdiction:1. The most recent inspection report2. The most recent stocklist3. Any mortality lists and/or post-mortem results that may be available. If applicable, please also provide:4. Details of instances where a zoo licence has been revoked or an application for licence renewal has been refused, within the last six years.
Response
We have 1 zoo in Hastings, East Sussex being Blue Reef Aquarium, Rock a Nore Road, Hastings.
