1. How many fly tipping incidents were reported to the council in the period 2015 to 2020 or in the last 5 financial years?

2. How many fly tipping incidents has the council had to clear up in the period 2015 to 2020 or in the last 5 financial years?

3. How many of the fly tipping incidents reported in the period 2015 to 2020 or in the last 5 financial years involved any type of asbestos?

4. What is the cost to the council of clearing away fly tipping involving asbestos in the period 2015 to 2020 or in the last 5 financial years?

Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding.

Q1 and Q2 - These are January to December and not financial years - these are all the completed fly tipping jobs reported to us, we do not hold information on ones we have not completed

2015 - 1976

2016 - 2171

2017 - 1970

2018 - 1881

2019 - 1374

2020 to date - 456

Q3 - Information is only held from 1st July 2019 as we no longer have access to the data held by our previous contractor.

We have had 2 reports of asbestos, these were sub contracted to Reef to remove.

Q4 - Please see table below, we do not hold figures for 2015/16 and also we only hold Quarter 1 for 2019/20.
