Response

Q1 - Our gas supplier is Total gas and our electricity supplier is NPower.

Q2 - Both contracts expire on 30 September 2020 and we are two thirds the way through agreeing new contracts.

Q3 - Hastings Borough Council has an Energy Development and Sustainability Service that has an input to supplier selection. We have been a member of an energy buying consortium known as the Local Authority South East Region (LASER) who provide a managed service.

Q4 - The Chief Auditor is responsible for the contracts through LASER. We have 3 main sites; Town Hall, Muriel Matters House and the Cemetery and Crematorium and we have about another 80 smaller sites such as public conveniences and car parks etc.
