Towns Fund Hastings Borough Council

Responded Wed 27 May 2020I understand that your council has been selected to participate in the Government's Towns Fund programme, according to the prospectus published on the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government's website.
Under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, p lease could you provide the following information:
How much of the total capacity funding allocation Hastings Borough Council has received under the Towns Fund so far.
In total, how much the council has already spent on developing its Town Deal Board and Town Investment plan, including:
1. How much of this funding came from its local budget.
2. How much of this funding came from bonds, treasury or commercial loans, or any other form of local authority borrowing.
3. How much of this funding came from private sector sources, including contributions, loans, co-financing or co-funding partnerships.
A breakdown of the expenditure for the development of the council's Town Deal Board and Town Investment plan, including amounts spent on staffing, travel, IT development, external consultants, and any other expenditures.

Answer - £5,200 (HBC Officer Cost)

Answer - None
3. How much of this funding came from private sector sources, including contributions, loans, co-financing or co-funding partnerships.
Answer - None. The Council has established the Town Board but not commissioned the Town Investment Plan or committed any other expenditure.
