ANPR cameras in car parks

I would like to make a request under the Freedom of Information Act (2000). I am seeking to identify the number of retrospective planning applications that were made for ANPR cameras in car parks.

The questions I have are as follows:

Q1. How many retrospective planning applications for the following ANPR instalments in car parks did you receive in each of the years 2017, 2018 and 2019:

a. Number of applications for ANPR cameras

b. Number of applications for pole mounted signs and wall mounted signs for ANPR cameras

Q2. How many retrospective planning applications for ANPR cameras in car parks were approved and declined in each of the years 2017, 2018 and 2019:

a. Total number approved for ANPR cameras

b. Total number declined for ANPR cameras

c. Total number approved for mounted poll and wall signs for ANPR

d. Total number declined for mounted poll and wall signs for ANPR

Q3. How many planning enforcement notices for ANPR cameras in car parks were issued in each of the years 2017, 2018 and 2019:

a. Enforcement notices

b. Stop notices

c. Breach of condition notices

d. Planning enforcement orders

Q4. How many planning enforcement notices for mounted poll and wall signs for ANPR in car parks were issued in each of the years 2017, 2018 and 2019:

a. Enforcement notices

b. Stop notices

c. Breach of condition notices

d. Planning enforcement orders

Response

Planning applications can be searched by proposal using public access at https://www.hastings.gov.uk/planning/searching/public-access-guides/Searching_applications/. However, we are not aware of any such applications being received.

Hastings Borough Council does not have ANPR in Hastings Borough Council owned car parks.
