Responded Tue 24 December 2019I am writing to you under the FOI Act 2000 to request the following information:

Response
Q1 -
NOTICE OF REFUSAL
The information requested in respect of how many pregnant women have registered with our local authority as being in need of temporary or supported accommodation in the last five calendar years would require us to manually check our records, this would far exceed the time limit set out by the Information Commissioner therefore, under S12 of the Freedom of information Act 2000 provides an exemption from the obligation to comply with a request for information if the estimated costs of complying with that request would exceed the prescribed appropriate limit.
We estimate that the costs of complying with your request would exceed the appropriate limit by a significant amount.
For this reason we feel unable to comply with this request
Q2 - Housing Officers would ask for proof of pregnancy provided by their GP or Hospital at their initial housing options appointment
