Could I please refer you to the attached images of gates/height barriers at Cinque Ports Way, Hastings?

As per the Freedom of Information Act could you please provide information held in relation to gates/height barriers at Cinque Ports Way, Hastings to include:

1. The installation of the gates/height barriers and

2. The consultation for the installation of the gates/height barriers

Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding.

Q1 - The yellow height barrier was installed in 2016 after many problems with illegal encampments.

Q2 - The land is private so as far aware there is no need for a pubic consultation but the persons affected beyond the barrier such as the Environment Agency, The Beach Hut Residents and other businesses nearby all fully supported the barrier being installed.
