Responded Tue 24 December 2019Would it be possible to supply information for the site at Cornwallis Street Car Park, Hastings, TN34 1ST.
The following is a list of information we would interested in:
• Any routine inspections by Environmental Health to the site.
• Any pollution incidents that may have been reported to or investigated.
• Any previous ground investigations on the site (the planning department may have copies).
• Any monitoring data for background environmental quality undertaken in the local area.
• Any records the may indicate possible sources of soil or water contamination on the site or immediately surrounding area (NIHHS, COMAH, explosives, hazardous substances, EPA 1990 p1 A+B, closed landfills, mineral extraction, MoD land, etc).
• Any site designation or possible designation made in respect of your obligations under Part IIa of the Environment Protection Act 1990.
• Registrations under Radioactive Substances Act 1983 for the site or immediately adjacent areas.
• Landfills or waste facilities on the site or immediately adjacent areas.
• Water Quality designation for any local controlled waters including rivers, streams, lakes, or aquifers.
• The location of any abstraction, discharge, and/or compliance points for controlled waters.
• Any local flood protection zones associated with the site, and the possible risk of flooding.
• Any other records the may indicate possible sources of soil contamination on the site or immediately surrounding area.
• Any historical trade directories you hold covering the site and adjacent properties.
• Are you aware of any nuisance complaints for the site.
