REVALUATION (2017) Discretionary Business Rates Relief Scheme

Responded Fri 18 October 2019Please could you confirm if your council used 1st April 2019 as the cut-off point for creating / distributing the 2018 / 2019 allocation of funds under the 2017 Discretionary (REVALUATION) Business Rates Relief Scheme ? If you did please can you confirm the amounts you were able to allocate to small businesses in your area and how much, if any, remained unspent ?
If you are using 30th September 2019 as the deadline, please confirm, and also then clarify how much you have allocated (and how much remains unspent) as at today's date. It would be appreciated if you could clearly state which date your figures relate to.
Response
Hastings Borough Council used 30th September as our cut off date. We had £112,000 available to allocate for 2018/19, we allocated the full £112,000.
