This is a Freedom of Information request for Hastings Borough Council's annual energy use separately for both electricity and gas in kilowatt hours along with what percentage of the energy is from renewables and any carbon offsets. Please provide the information via email to this email address.

Unfortunately, we do not have any information on either electricity or gas consumption in kilowatt hours along with what percentage of the energy is from renewables and any carbon offsets at this time. However, we are currently midway through evaluating a bureau service so that we will be able to accurately monitor all our energy and water usage which may or may not be able to report retrospectively. Please feel free to check again with us at the beginning of October.

We do not purchase green energy specifically but we have started to generate our own electricity through solar panels installed on the roof of our main operational building, Muriel Matters House and on Castleham East Business Centre.
