The data we are requesting:

We would like to know what dates during Winter 2018-9 your local authority housing options team has activated their Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP).

Most local authorities will use a trigger based on the outside temperature to determine specific days SWEP provision is activated.

Hastings Borough Council Dates SWEP was active:

12 - 17 December 2018 (inclusive)

3 - 5 January 2019 (inclusive)

17 January - 4 February (inclusive)

10 February 2019

In addition to providing temporary accommodation for rough sleepers, the council also worked with a local church to provide an open-access sit up night shelter during SWEP.
